Our Windermere Restaurant | Lindeth Fell Country House Hotel

With having only 14 bedrooms, we offer an intimate dining experience with excellent service and great food. This has been recognised by inspectors and journalists alike who fully appreciate the restaurant's views, ambience, service and food on offer. They're particularly happy that our kitchen (under the supervision of Diana Kennedy) has achieved a level of consistency not seen in many hotel restaurants.

Our style is very much 'modern English', using fresh, local produce wherever possible and creating as much as we can from scratch. Our soups, roast meats and English puddings are great examples of this. We offer private dining for intimate groups and a standard of fine dining rarely seen in the Bowness-on-Windermere area.

Of course, the dining experience is enhanced further by the fantastic lake and fell views from our restaurant. It extends along the side of the house, meaning wherever you're seated, you're not missing out on the views of Windermere Lake.

The restaurant is only a short drive from Bowness on Windermere, but we'd be happy to organise a taxi should you prefer to have a glass of wine or other alcoholic beverage.
