Local Produce | Lindeth Fell Country House Hotel

Cumbria has an array of excellent food and drink producers and, where possible we have negotiated with them to supply direct to the hotel. Our own view is that if every hotel made the effort to do this, the hospitality industry would be taking one more step towards reducing its carbon footprint (while keeping its guest's happy!).

If you have any questions about any of the produce we use, feel free to ask one of our members of staff.

While we'd love to say that all our purchases were local, there are still some products that are bought outside of Cumbria - this generally means other parts of the North of England and the Midlands. There is an obvious need to balance the quality of the produce that we use with the environmental impact and we never take these decisions lightly.
