October Sunday Lunch in Windermere
Our Sunday Lunch menu changes monthly, however the soup and desserts change weekly. Bookings are essential (limited to 20 diners) and a main course pre-order is required.
We are serving from 12.30pm to 1.30pm on each Sunday in October.
Sunday Lunch Menu:
~ Greek Salad; Feta, Kalamata olives, fresh oregano, mini plum tomatoes, cucumber, green pepper, red onion, lemon and extra virgin olive oil
~ Cheese soufflé with mustard cream sauce
~ Pea and mint soup
~ Grilled fillet of plaice with a prawn and parsley butter and minty new potatoes
~ Roast loin of pork, Cumberland stuffing balls, Bramley apple sauce, crackling, potatoes roasted in goose fat with thyme and garlic
Served with a selection of seasonal vegetables tossed in extra virgin olive oil & cauliflower cheese
The pudding selection changes weekly.
~ Tart Tatin with cream
~ Chocolate brownies with vanilla ice cream
~ Brown sugar meringues, whipped cream
~ Bread and butter pudding with apricot and custard
~ Strawberries and raspberries
Farrer’s Special Mountain Blend coffee and Kendal mint cake
